Why is this important?

Congestive Heart failure, also called heart failure, happens when the heart cannot pump enough blood and oxygen to support other organs in your body. Heart failure is a serious condition, but it does not mean that the heart has stopped beating. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports about 5.7 million adults in the United States have heart failure and about One in 9 deaths included heart failure as contributing cause. The American Heart Association reports heart failure costs the nation an estimated $30.7 billion each year.
